Sushi-Inspired 3D-Printed Confections : 3D-printed confections

Sugar Lab is “the first digital bakery in the world” and a specialist for 3D-printed confections that are eye-catching and delicious. The brand recently introduced a new product, the Sushi Roll Bonbons. This product comes in a six-piece set. It is printed with powdered sugar and filled with hojicha (a finely ground green tea powder, traditionally grown in Kyoto Japan) ganache, and tahini. Sugar Lab’s best chocolate makers combine the hojicha Ganache with smooth milk Chocolate, while the strong umami flavor of the tahini is added.

Sugar Lab designers studied carefully the texture of rice, as well as the delicate shades orange, pink, white, in order to produce the perfect marbling for fresh salmon cut.
