Reno Couple Opens Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More Franchise

Jeff and Andrea Pearson have been awarded Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of Reno, Nevada, an independently owned and operated custom t-shirt and decorated apparel franchise business.

October 31, 2023 // Franchising.com // RENO, Nev. – Reno natives Jeff and Andrea Pearson have begun an exciting new journey of business ownership in their beloved hometown, with a Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of Reno franchise. This marks a career milestone for the couple and is a “win” for the Reno community.

Jeff Pearson was born and raised in Incline Village (on the north shore) of Lake Tahoe. His family ran a bed-and breakfast, which introduced him to the hospitality sector at a very young age. The experience ignited his passion for hospitality. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration at University of Nevada Las Vegas and went on to manage resorts including Hilton, Wyndham International, and Diamond Resorts International. He was Western Regional Director and managed five resorts from Colorado to Hawaii.

He was ready to make a change in 2023. He wanted to start a business and work for himself. He also wanted to leave a legacy for the family. But he wasn’t exactly sure what to do or where to begin. That’s when he learned about the Big Frog franchise opportunity. He was impressed with Big Frog’s exceptional training.

“I have attended Hilton Worldwide University, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts General Manager Program, as well as Cornell University’s Professional Development Program,” said Jeff Pearson. “I must say that Big Frog University provided training on par with these outstanding programs. Andrea Pearson, a Reno native, attended the University of Nevada. Prior to Big Frog, she was on the administrative team of the University of Nevada’s Athletics Department for 11 years. She was then Executive Assistant of the Director of Athletics at the University of Nevada for 16 Years before moving on to the School of Public Health where she became Executive Assistant of the Dean. She brings to Big Frog Reno her extensive administrative experience and will handle marketing, promotions, merchandise, and many other details.

At Big Frog’s Meet the Team Day, upon signing their franchise agreement, she was amazed by the support from Big Frog’s headquarters team. “We are so honored and thrilled to officially be a part of the Big Frog Team!” said Andrea Pearson. “The support and encouragement we’ve received from everyone is so appreciated and has reinforced what we already knew was a great decision for us and our family.”

The Pearson’s passion for people, community engagement, and commitment to quality service make them ideally suited for the Big Frog franchise opportunity. They also volunteer at their local church’s children’s ministry in their free time. In 2022 they went on an unforgettable, nine-day pilgrimage through Israel’s Holy Land. Families are important to them. They have two dogs, Kobe, and Buddy. They also have three adult children and three grandchildren.
