Epson launches new mobile POS printers with enhanced portability
Epson, a global provider of technology known for its receipt printers, announced two new additions: the Epson TM-P20II, and TM-P80II.
Epson TM P20II & TM P80II printers have been designed to be more agile and flexible, allowing them to better meet the needs of businesses that use POS terminals. They are especially suitable for on-the-go environments, such as distribution, logistic, and utilities.

The Epson TM P20II & TM P80II have a compact and lightweight design for easy wearability & portability. These printers are easily carried by operators using accessories such as shoulder or belt straps. These printers feature a flip-over cover that allows for easy and quick replacement of empty rolls. A LED indicator panel located on top of the printer allows users to quickly monitor and solve printer issues.
Built to endure harsh environments
The Epson TM-20II and TM80II printers are built to withstand the harsh conditions that can be encountered in outdoor environments. These printers can withstand damage from accidents. The TM-P20II has a 2.1m rating for drops, and the TM-P80II has a 1.9m rating. Both printers come with standard IP54 dust- and liquid-protection designs. They offer users in tropical climates peace ofmind about potential printer damage.
The TM-20II and TM80II are equipped with rechargeable battery packs that have a longer lifespan to accommodate the long operating hours in outdoor environments.
Interconnectivity is seamless
The TM80II model Wi-Fi offers a battery life of up to 25 hours, while the Bluetooth model can last up to 47. The TM-P20II model, on the other hand offers a battery life of up to 15-hours when the power-saving mode has been activated. While the Bluetooth model can be used for up to 27-hours. Safety is ensured by the absence of cutting blades that protrude from the printer when it comes to tearing off receipts. The smooth surface allows for easy cleaning of the printers after a day’s use. These features make the TM P20II & TM P80II printers ideal for outdoor and challenging environments.
