Delta Apparel Reports Preliminary First Quarter Sales Results

Majority Of Go-To-Market Channels Expect Double-Digit growth

DULUTH (Ga.), January 05th, 2023–(BUSINESS WIRE.)–Delta Apparel, Inc., a top provider of lifestyle apparel, core activewear, and direct-to garment digital print and fulfillment solutions, today announced preliminary sales results from its 2023 fiscal quarter that ended December 31, 2022.

The Company anticipates total first quarter net sales of $106 million. This includes 17% sales growth within the Salt Life Group segment, double-digit growth across its direct to consumer retail and eCommerce channels, as well as continued growth in its wholesale customers. DTG2Go’s 20% increase in sales led to the Delta Group segment. This was compared with the first quarter of last year. The Company experienced a sales decline in Delta Direct due to market conditions. However, Global Brands and Retail Direct both saw double-digit sales growth.
