2024 TCT Women in 3D Printing Innovator Award finalists announced

The finalists for the 2024 TCT Ladies in 3D Printing Innovator Award sponsored by EOS have been revealed.

Now in its fourth yr, the award is a joint collaboration between TCT and Ladies in 3D Printing (WI3DP) and celebrates the contributions of feminine innovators within the additive manufacturing (AM) house.

Every yr, we invite the general public to place ahead their nominations and a panel of judges at TCT and WI3DP have the tough job of whittling these nominations down a shortlist. This yr’s finalists are:

  • Brigitte de Vet, Chief Government Officer, Materialise,
  • Cora Leibig, Founder and Chief Government Officer, Chromatic 3D Supplies
  • Melissa Orme, Vice President of Additive Manufacturing, The Boeing Firm
  • Nesma Aboulkhair, Director of Additive Manufacturing, Expertise Innovation Institute
  • Olga Ivanova, Director of Functions & Expertise, Mechnano

In a panel session co-hosted by TCT Head of Content material Laura Griffiths and Ladies in 3D Printing President Kristin Mulherin, the 5 finalists spoke about their journeys into 3D printing, present tasks, and their views on the trade at present. Watch in full.

Launched in 2019, earlier recipients embody Wai Yee Yeong, Chair for the College of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological College; Eliana Fu, Business Supervisor, Aerospace and Medical at TRUMPF; and Alba Gonzalez Alvarez, Physician in Biomedical Engineering at College Carlos III of Madrid.

The general public vote is now open and the winner will likely be introduced in the course of the TCT Awards ceremony on June fifth at The Nationwide Convention Centre, Birmingham, UK. The TCT Awards is the trade’s premier celebration of additive manufacturing applied sciences, functions and collaborations and takes place alongside TCT 3Sixty, the UK’s largest showcase of commercial 3D printing and additive manufacturing applied sciences.
